Over the weekend, the Washington Post’s Elizabeth Dwoskin highlighted the work of a subset of Silicon Valley chiefs of staff and the ways that they are more powerful working together. She also noted that I spoke at one of that group’s dinners. I attended in part to compare notes between how this group functioned and how I crafted a pilot chief of staff peer group in Seattle last February. In researching my book, I heard from the chief of staff community a similar narrative – that they/you wanted a place to meet each other for networking and professional development. Our Seattle peer group meeting last week was well attended and highly rated, so we are looking forward to the roll out of more peer groups where people in this role can connect. Come be a part of the bigger picture as it unfolds. Keep an eye on our events page for upcoming peer group meetings.
